What's wrong with this picture ?

Most homes have enough room to live spaciously and comfortably but typically we accumulate too much stuff over the years and have no place to put it.

Here are some helpful suggestions.

Make a two column list. In the first column list all the items which you frequently use or necessary furniture and accessories to keep around. In the other column list all the items you can live without or items used very seldom. Do this for every room, closet and the garage. Plan to relocate those items from the second column to your 5A Rent-A-Space unit.

5A is here to help !

Ask a 5A counselor to suggest the proper size unit for your storage items. They will give you helpful hints on how to pack your items efficiently while saving you money.

Utilizing a pickup, van or small rental truck, take all your items for storage to your unit at one time. Keep an original list of stored items on file along with your storage contract. Place a copy of your list on the door or wall inside your storage unit for easy inventory of your items.

When you pack items into your storage unit,  put the items you rarely use along the back and side walls. Leave a walkway down the middle so you can easily access everything without having to remove anything.

Put the items you will need most frequently near the front for easy removal.
